Ancol Prepares 45 Panjat Pinang Trees for Independence Day

Some 45 Pinang trees have been prepared by the Ancol Taman Impian for visitors who want to take part in the competition, from August 17 to 20, 2023.

Today, the event starts from 1 PM to 3 PM, while Saturday and Sunday from 2 PM to 5 PM

PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk Corporate Communication, Ariyadi Eko Nugroho said the Panjat Pinang (climbing the slippery pole) competition is held to celebrate the Indonesia Independence Day's 78th Anniversary. There are various kinds of prizes provided such as bicycles, household furniture, and various interesting merchandise.

He explained this competition is held in the Festival Beach area. Meanwhile, at the weekend, it would be held at Sunrise Beach.
